Eva's May kit workshop – let's make a purse!

I love making all kinds of cute little 3D projects and I am always on the hunt for new templates and such.  So I came across this really cute purse template from non other, then the fabulous Martha Stewart!  My philosophy has always been not to reinvent the wheel, so with that said, I will just link her template link and tutorial here and also show you a few steps I took to create my cute little purse using the gorgeous May kit!

Click here to check out her tutorial and download templates to create this little purse.

My little purse

So, what I did first is, I printed out the templates on the cardstock and the patterned paper.

Printed pattern on paper

Than I cut them out and scored the lines with my Scor-it tool, which I love!

Score lines

Once it was scored, I started assembling it according to the tutorial and this is what I came up with. By the way, those pretty Prima flowers are just perfect for a 3D project and saved them all for those type of creations.

Complete purse

I added the little exclusive tag that came with our kit and used the Basic Grey rubons and tied it all with the pretty little trim from the kit. I really love the way this turned out and it will make a perfect little gift holder for someone special. Hope you like what you see and get inspired to create one as well.

Have a fabulous Friday!
